2016 Y'all!

I honestly can't believe it's been over a year since my last post...but then at the same time I totally can!

2015 was the year of survival. It had so many highs and some pretty major lows but we survived and now I'm back! I want 2016 to be about thriving. But it feels weird to not catch you up on the time in between. SO I figured I'd share some of my highlights from 2015.

Let's just get this one out of the way...

The Adventure Begins

Well we are here and mostly moved in! *yay!*

This was our first official week by ourselves since Keaton's parents helped us get settled the first week (they are so dang awesome!). We found some pretty good stuff to keep us busy this weekend!  We took advantage of the world's largest inflatable slide, the Appalachian mountains, apple orchards, etc. etc. And since my grandparents are in the area they took us adventuring with them. Life is good...mostly because we don't have jobs yet and school hasn't started HA! This week it's down to business though ;)

This was a village of fairy houses! I loved them all but this was my favorite.

I really am loving it here. It's actually green which is new for me! I can't wait to see what it looks like in the fall either.

Have a great week guys!

The Williamson Family

I was so glad I got to take pictures of this lovely bunch before they (and we) move off! They're the most precious group of gingers you ever saw! I can't wait to meet the new addition!

Case and point! They are wonderful inside and out! I'm so glad I got to break from the craziness of moving preparation to spend some time with the Williamsons!

In other news: WE FOUND A HOUSE!! We spent last week in Kennesaw house hunting and I can't wait to get all moved in and share our new home with you guys! What an excellent new adventure this is going to be!!

Y'all enjoy your independence day by the way!
Thanks for stopping by!

Life...

Life is sort of sneaking up on me right now. Just know I have big things planned for the blog! I am just waiting for the time to do it right! We move in 5 and 1/2 weeks! Hopefully as we are getting settled I'll be able to put my heart into it because I really enjoy sharing this space with/ for you all!

If you pray, I would so very much appreciate prayers as we travel to ATL and look for a place to call home!

Thanks for hanging in here with me. You guys are awesome!

My Wandering Heart

This is a good reminder in this season of life.

Hope this will calm someone as much as it did me.

Have a splendid weekend my friends!

Here's to the Next Chapter...

Keaton and I will officially be moving to Georgia this Summer! We were both accepted into Masters programs at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia and will start school there in the Fall! (Keaton for Creative Writing and me for Biology!)

I'm still sort of on an excitement high but the sad is definitely starting to set in and will probably continue to get worse... It's going to be very difficult to leave our Church and community that we have grown to depend on in so many ways. All of our friends are here and a large chunk of our family! It's going to be tough but I'm very much looking forward to this new adventure and wouldn't want to do it with anyone else! Plus it's a whole new state to explore! Keep us in your prayers as we make the transition this summer. I know it's going to have its ups and downs but I'm so overwhelmed by the fact that we're getting to both pursue our dreams! That's kind of a big deal!!!

Thanks for reading :)
