Field Work

Y'all.

I LOVE my job.

I've been working full time for The Nature Conservancy for almost a year! I wanted to share some photos from random field days here and there. I'm still a little nervous to take my camera in the field with me, just because you never really know what to expect! It could be a really easy, chill day on the river, or you could flip your boat trying to save an elementary school kid from losing their lunch... you just never know! So most of these photos were taken on my phone (in a Lifeproof case, which is a total necessity these days).

2016 Y'all!

I honestly can't believe it's been over a year since my last post...but then at the same time I totally can!

2015 was the year of survival. It had so many highs and some pretty major lows but we survived and now I'm back! I want 2016 to be about thriving. But it feels weird to not catch you up on the time in between. SO I figured I'd share some of my highlights from 2015.

Let's just get this one out of the way...

Weekend Adventures

Keaton and I recently went on a weekend adventure to the Chickamauga battlefield and Lookout Mountain! It was pretty nerdy and we may or may not have watched some of Ken Burns Civil War documentary when we got home to retrace our steps from the day...

I'm glad I get to have such a weird partner in crime. We're good together...

Georgian Fall

We had some pretty great colors this fall if you ask me! It's weird having an Autumn but I could definitely get used to it...
