Hey guys!

My name is Alex! I was born in Dallas, TX, Oklahoma has my heart, and I live in Georgia!

I married my best friend and high school sweetheart on May 14, 2011 (Keaton)

and I'm a mother to this handsome dog! (Archie)

I have a M.S. in Integrative biology and have studied in a variety of habitats from the Great Plains to the Gulf of Mexico. I am a biologist for The Nature Conservancy in Georgia where I focus on aquatic ecology.

I love being outside and seeing the world! I love traveling so much but I'm definitely a homebody. There's nothing better than finding new things in your own "backyard". I love to encourage people to enjoy where they're at! Wherever you live, I promise there's something unique and beautiful to appreciate.

I play bass, enjoy bird watching, I drink iced coffee like a fiend, and I love sharks!

I love my family and friends, like... a lot.  

 

I really dig my life, the ups and the downs. I think every day is a new adventure, which is handy because adventures just happen to be my favorite!
