2016 Y'all!

I honestly can't believe it's been over a year since my last post...but then at the same time I totally can!

2015 was the year of survival. It had so many highs and some pretty major lows but we survived and now I'm back! I want 2016 to be about thriving. But it feels weird to not catch you up on the time in between. SO I figured I'd share some of my highlights from 2015.

Let's just get this one out of the way...

Belize...Again

I went ahead and compiled some of the video I took while I was in Belize in case they wanted to use it for the class and I figured I might as well share it here! Video gives you a feeling that photos can't quite capture. I would love to get better at videography...maybe someday. For now I'll just keep winging it. lol

This was my first time using my GoPro so some (cough..a lot..) of the shots are super shaky!
Practice makes perfect right? ;)

Hope you like it!

Belize

I am finally getting around to going through my photos from my recent adventures. Belize has such a special place in my heart! I wouldn't mind calling it home some day... Here's to dreaming!

Time Flies

Did you know that this time last year I was in Belize???

It's hitting me pretty hard. It feels like yesterday! I cannot describe to you how much I enjoyed roughing it in paradise! We had no AC, no running water and the water we did have was collected from the rain. We had electricity for about an hour each day that was stored up through solar panels (I didn't even use it). We ate all local food that was prepared by local women (I would kill for their plantains right now!!!) and we lived on an island in cabins and snorkeled all day every day. It was absolutely magnificent.

I hope I get to go back some day...

Oh...and we had beer. HA!

Thanks for reminiscing with me! Hope you had the best weekend ever!!
