When my all time BFF wanted to celebrate her dirty 30 in Cali, I obviously jumped at the chance to spend as much time in California as humanly possible because I love it there. So Keaton and I spent a couple of days bumping around highway 1 until we met the gang for a little wine country time.
We usually end up in So Cal so it was nice to visit the northern part of the state. I read some Henry Miller and Steinbeck to prep for the trip and I gotta say, I get why the bay area is so sought after. It's a magical place... Mountains, steep coastlines, mystical fog that comes in every evening; what more could you want?
I think we did as much as anyone can do in 7 days and I'm already starting my list of things I want to see next time.
Prepare for some major Phoverload (photo-overload)

The Georgia Aquarium
Have I mentioned that I love aquariums??? Last weekend I got to spend time with some of my favorite people and do one of my favorite things! If you're EVER in Atlanta you should really check out the Georgia Aquarium. It's so full of magic! There is something about seeing a Whale Shark in person... It's almost a religious experience. They also have a bodies exhibit right now with all kinds of "Sea Monsters" which will pretty much blow your mind!
Enjoy your weekend friends!

Aquariums and Best Friends!
I recently met my very best friend and her family at the Tennessee aquarium in Chattanooga! She lives in Kansas and was visiting family so it was so awesome to get to take some time to see her! Plus it's the first friend I've seen since I've moved! How appropriate that it was Kelsey!
Anyway, I can take some pictures in an aquarium y'all... These are just a few.
I absolutely adored this Moon Jelly exhibit! They had mirrors on both sides so it looked like they just went on forever! Such a cool idea. I wish I could have this in my house!

It was really nice to see some familiar faces! So glad I got to tag along!
School starts this week! GRAD SCHOOL!! Wow. I'm feeling old.
Hope you all enjoy your week!
