I follow A Beautiful Mess pretty religiously so when Elsie shared that she would be doing another 365 project I thought I might do one too! So I took some time to really think about what it was I wanted to do. I looked to other blogs for inspiration and What I settled on was...
*drum role please*
A journal! Here was my thinking behind this. Basically there are sooooo many benefits to journaling. As a scientist the obvious is a field journal. This is super important to be disciplined about and if I'm being honest, I've never been good at it! So I think it will help in that area.
Secondly, I love Amanda Keith's journal entries she shows on her blog. I think they are so creative! My hope is that doing this will help me organize some of my ideas and thoughts that I forget a lot of the time because I never write them down!
Lastly, as someone who claims to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ I really don't read/study the bible like I should/want to. This is the biggest reason I chose this challenge. It's something that has been weighing heavy on my heart and I've just been telling myself that there's no time when really I need to make time. I know this will have positive effects on my school, my marriage, my friendships, and basically every aspect of life.
So. I'm still brainstorming on the best way to combine all of this and do it effectively. I suppose the best method will develop as I continue with this throughout the year. I also don't think I'll be sharing every day, maybe just sporadically. But there you have it! That's my 365 project and I'm pretty excited about it!
We'll see what happens... lol
